240 wagon 89 wont start in heat 200

240 wagon (89) wont start when outside temp is over 85 and sunny. Wierd? anybody have a clue as to what would cause this? as soon as the temp goes down a few degrees it will fire right up. runs perfect other wise, could this be a sensor or electrical connector slightly changing size due to heat? I really need some help on this one. volvo dealer says they have never heard of it. thanks, Tracy
