Window relay on 91 240 sedan 200 1991

Last week my windows started to lose power all at once but not all the time. Later in the week they just stopped working all together (when I first bought the car 4 yrs ago, if you put down all 4 windows at once you'd blow the fuse). At any rate, my dad and I spent the past few nights trying to locate the power window relay. We have Volvo shop manuals & Chilton, Haynes & the Bentley books and the relay isn't where it is shown to be? Has anyone run into a similar problem? This is soooo frustrating. We've been getting some fairly hot weather so it is like sitting in an oven - it makes you crazy!

Thanks,
Susie
