Flickering warning lights 200 1986

After a weekend of driving logging roads in Washington to get to the mountains the warning lights (elec, oil pressure, brake, parking brake) flicker on and off. It seems to be related to hitting potholes. I found some bare wires behind the alternator and taped them. That didn't fix the problem. I wiggled them and couldn't cause the light flickering. Banging around on the dash, while satisfying, didn't produce the flickering. Looking for new ideas and a sense of how much of a problem it is before taking off for the weekend again. Thanks
