The lines are nylon 140-160 1974

Hi,
I am not having a problem with "hot starts" just "cold". I have to let the starter crank quite a bit before fuel gets to the engine. It seems to start easier if I turn the key let it crank for a bit then turn the key again. The cold start injector seems to be working okay.

I was hopeing that replacing the check valve and perhaps also replacing the control pressure regulator would make starting easier.

I am guessing that fuel is not staying in the fuel lines.

I always just assumed that the fuel pump turned on when the ignition was turned on. Does removing the airflow sensor connection improve starting?

What control pressure regulator are you using? The one currently on my car is a Bosch xxx xxx 004. Can ones from newer model Volvos be used?

Thanks.
