245 Custom Exhaust 200

Greetings,

I need to replace the exhaust system from the intermediate pipe back in my '81 245. The car has a strong (185psi-190psi) B23 and I'd like to possibly put a performance cam in it at some point in time. In the mean time I'm considering various options to replace the exhaust system with something other than stock and was wondering what some of you are running? What size tubing should I go with? 2.25"? 2.5"? Should I just run pipe back to a muffler located fairly far aft? Flowmaster Cat? Skip the cat altogether?

I'm open for suggestions.

Thanks in advance,

Jaak
