Low Oil pressure after rebuild 140-160

Replaced the rings(b21 pistons), cam, and brearings on my B20, but now my dad is saying that we should have mic'ed the crank before ordering new bearings.
When I start the car up, pressure rises to 40-45, and stays there. When driving, the pressure goes up with rpms. However after the engine warms up the pressure sinks to about 10-15. The Oil light never comes on while it's running and I'm using 20-50wt with a voscosity enhancer.
Wrong size bearings?
