90 740 no start 700 1990

I own a 90 740GL w/290,000 miles on it. Ran fine until I started having cold start problems. ODB codes indicated no signal from cold start injector and no signal from IAC valve. The car ran fine with these codes once it was warm until the other night.
The car would not start after shutting it off. Seemed like a fuel problem so I checked the fuel pump relay and the fuel injection relays, all tested fine and are operational. Replaced the single fuel pump in the tank and the filter. The fuel pump in operating fine with plenty of fuel provided to the fuel rail and injectors, but the gas is not geting into the motor. Funny thing is I can hear the injectors "clicking" when I get the motor running with starting fluid. Will the IAC valve cause a no start? I'm leaning towards a bad ECU, but would like to confirm my gut feeling before spending money on one. I've never been had a problem you guys couldnt help me figure out.
