007 AMM in an LH 2.4 200

Following up on a recent post, with Art B's learned commentary, I went and stuck a good 007 in the '89 244 and took it for a spin. Not bad for a short term test, some idle instability at first but the ECU seemed to take care of it. Throttle response may have had a slight hitch, but maybe not. Seemed to drive OK although I am not looking at fuel economy or anything else in depth. But it does look like the 016 and 007 are a little more compatible than I thought. An 007 would at least get you home relatively normally, I think.
I think Art said the 016 works fine in LH 2.2 confirming what I had been told. I did the reverse swap.
