Electronic fuel injector alternatives 140-160

I'm converting my '73 project 164 from D-Jet to MegaSquirt. The injectors need replacement, and I'm wondering if anyone has replaced it with something else. I have no problem machining new holders or doing any of the electronic stuff, just wondering if anyone can recommend a more common/modern/cheaper injector that I would be able to make work. Six injectors are expensive to replace with the OEM type... And the reason for replacement is because it is not Bosch, it is some other kind of junk crap that has no name or part number on it and are leaking. Thanks in advance.
