164 B30 Low Oil Pressure + Odd Noise Above Idle 140-160

Hello all, I'm new to Brickboard, but not new to Volvo. I have a 1971 164 with a B30 engine. When warm, the oil pressure light flickers or comes on solid, depending on RPM's. Above an idle, it goes out. I understand low oil pressure is known to plague the B30, but haven't seen anything telling the typical reasons, yet. Main bearing clearance? Oil pump? Is there something that is typical of the B30?

The engine also has an odd whine that rises in pitch as RPM's increase and is not heard at an idle. Ideas? I guess I'm hoping it's not a spun bearing or something... Thanks in advance!
