Replacing temp sensor 140-160 1972

My 164E's been running very rich lately, and idle adjustment isn't doing the trick. My tech has checked the injectors and says they're fine...replacing the temp sensor has been recommended as a next step--does anyone know if this is a generic part of if it's going to mean another hunting expedition?
