Light Bulbs Out in Radio 900 1992

I have a 1992 940GL. I bought it when I was stationed with the Air Force in Germany and went to the factory in Sweden to pick it up. Now has 170,000 miles and going strong--best car I have ever owned!!

A couple of the microbulbs that light up the facepate of the radio have burned out. I replaced with 12 volt bulbs (required some soldering) and they work but are too dim. Have learned that they should be 6 volt bulbs. Radio Shack does not carry these and I can't find any place that does. Anyone know where I can get 6 volt microbulbs? Anybody had any experience with this? Thanks.
