Air Box Part Number 900 1995

I gave up on fixing the clips and ordered a new air box from Volvo. The part number I got is 9171011-1 which is the non-heated version that is supposed to be correct for my 95 940 Turbo Wagon. It doesn't look the same as the one in the car. Most noticably, there is a big round circle in the front of the new box, but not in the old. I can't see where the air comes in in the old one, but I think it is from the bottom of the housing. Could it be that they added this extra hole below the filter to allow extra air flow? Or, do I have the wrong part number.
