Hi,
I've read most of the posts about checking all the overdrive systems parts and have checked all of them. I know the solenoid is working. I've changed trans fluid and now I get overdrive after a while on the freeway sometimes. I've taken the car to a couple shops and they say there has to be enough oil (fluid) pressure as well as the solenoid working for the trans to shift into overdrive, and BTW its $2k to fix. So, I guess I've figured out I have a trans problem. I need to find another trans, is it better to go to the local auto parts and buy a rebuilt or to the junk yard and buy the used one? thanks,
