Key switch is separate from button switch 200 1991

Inside the door, there are two switches. One is "wrapped" around the key lock- the one you are trying to use with the key from outside. The button's switch is separate.

To fix this, you'll need to pull the door panel off and find the switch made mostly of plastic, clipped around the key lock. The wires to it may be deteriorated, but I think you may find the switch itself has sustained water damage. Look for red, green and black wires.
