Who knows what this is? 444-544

I would doubt the original paint story and would add 100 k to the mileage to be on the safe side, but it looks like a nice car. The raspberry birthmark and funky bumper mods could be removed, and the missing V O L V O letters could be replaced. I paid 5K for mine in more original condition, but with higher mileage than claimed for this car, five years ago, and figured I paid about 1k too much, but that's the price of love. I don't think the car is worth much more than the 5K reserve.
