drove through flooded road - any damage? 900

Last summer I reluctantly drove my 95 960 through some flooded roads in the Tucson desert. I drove through the crown portion of the road and not too fast or slow. I think it was about a foot or so. since then I've racked about 4,000 miles on the car. How well does the dip stick tube seal on these cars? The tube sits about 15" from the ground. I'm thinking I might have gotten some water in my trans. Could this be so? Any other areas water could have entered in? I drove it all year, and about 3,500 miles before I flushed it; the filter had quite a bit of crud on it.

I'm also wondering about the rear end. Do you think water got in that? After driving through the flood I went on to New Mexico, and then back home to Berkeley California and have been driving it all year in the bay area.

Thanks! Mr. 960
