The first puller I tried was a 'heavy duty' one from JCWhitney with three 'legs' that bolted on. It didn't really allow the lug nuts to get snugged down real well and the holes were beveled, so the lug nuts would sink down into the holes with the pounding. Good old JCWhitney. Now I have one that's more like the above/Volvo model that came from Skandix which I have more confidence in, but we'll see. I have several 'hammers' to choose from. all the way up to a big sledge. I'm just afraid of breaking the arm off the puller, but I guess I should just go for it- trying to take "if you think you're hitting it too hard, you're not hitting it hard enough" to heart.
