car won't start 700 1992

Hay all need some help. I got a 1992 740 wagen b230 motor with 198000 miles on it. I went out to start her up she start but then died. She turns over but won't fire up. The tach dosen't move when I turn the key. I hear a click but I don't hear the pump go on. I have gas a 1/2 tank. I do get a spark when i turn her over. Thank all.
