Reverse Light solenoid 120-130

Hi Shayne,

I had a look last night and found the relay. I tried to test the transmission switch/ground with my tester hooked up to the positive side of the battery, but it was always grounded (not surprised). So then I pulled the wire back into the engine compartment and hooked it up to the negative side of the battery...this should make the reverse lights go on, I figured...nothing. So I disconnected the other two leads from the relay and connected them. Reverse lights!

So I'm guessing the relay is shot?

While looking at the wiring I also found (on the same part of the harness) a couple of wires that were taped off. One was two red wires going into one female spade connector the other two were black. The two that had voltage across them when connected ran the head light low beam...but the head lights still work with the swithch in the car. Any thoughts?

Cheers,
Craig
