Stalling issues.....What's going on??? 200 1986

Here is a problem that has happened twice in the past 2 months. I live in Florida where is it toasty in the summer months. I have an '86 sedan with auto trans that has 319K on an original engine. It is maintained regularly and has an aux fan that I can kick on if I'm parked in traffic and no air is flowing over the radiator/condensor. The a/c works fine and was retrofitted a few years ago to the new 134a system. My problem is while parked with the a/c on waiting for my wife and the transmission in park, the temp gauge reads normal or a needles width above the 9 o'clock position. The temp compensator board was also bypassed a few years ago also. After about 10 minutes of idling and all appearing ok, I put the car into reverse or drive, depending upon which way I'm pointed and the car will stall and all the dash lights come on and the car won't restart until all accessories and the a/c is turned off. When it does restart, it runs slightly rough, but otherwise is ok. After I've driven a couple of minutes, I can turn everything back on and all is well.... What's going on? I recently replaced both fuel pumps and the fuel pump relay.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.....
