Decisions on a new Wagon

Hello all,

My current love recently got smished by a dump truck, and I'm fully expecting the insurance company to call her totalled. So now I have to look for a new car.

My current choices (all wagons) are a 1997 960 w/ 75k, 1987 760 Turbo w/ 175k, and a 1990 740 Turbo w/ 145k.

I had a 940 and was wondering how the 700 series compared or what was different between the two. My only obvious objection to the 960 is the timing belt/destroy engine concern (we did that already). Car must be a wagon and must be a Turbo or equivalent, Houston does not allow for a 4 cylinder otherwise I'd be buying one of several nice 240 wagons.

Help, advice, thoughts? Is there any characteristics which would make one better/easier to fix/more reliable than the others?

Thanks,
Bridget
