S90 Trans Fluid level S90-V90

The trans fluid is such that it itself expands and contracts with heat and cold. Same with Power Steering of which most (all?) Volvos use ATF-Type F.

My experience has been 3.25 quarts on a refill...that is draining and filling on a pair of Rhino Ramps.
When you check the level, do it on a cold engine so that you don't burn yourself and remember to run the shifter from L up to P, pausing briefly at each stage. Group: If this is an antiquated procedure I am open to enlightenment.
