Static Timing - which direction? 120-130

I've got a 1968 122s with a 1970 142 B20 engine. I just installed a rebuilt
JFR4 distributor. I rotated the engine so it points to 5 deg. BTDC.
I've connected a 12v test light.
My Haynes manual says to rotate the distributor body until the points just open up - and the light comes on.
It does not say which direction.

Assumptions: From the front of the car the engine rotates clockwise. The distributor rotates counter clockwise.

From the front of the car - the rotor points to about 7:00.
The notch in the distributor is at about 6:30.

Which way to rotate?

Thanks as always,
John Wade
