Having problems with lowering kit 200 1990

Hi all,

Quick question, I just put new swaybars and Bilstein Touring strut inserts and rear shocks and B&G lowering springs on my '90 240 DL. I have all of this on the car now but am having problems with the front. When I put the new spring on and tightened down the strut bearings as far as they can go there is vertical play in the springs they don't seat against the bottom and top plates. This causes the spring to creak and groan when turning. I think there is some kind of spacer need here. Does anybody have any experience with this? Thanks - Tim
