Worn Turbo hose impact on turbo 945T

I discovered a worn turbo hose from AMM to turbo. It wore out where it connects to the turbo. Half the hose was torned off, leaving half the inlet to the turbo open to the envvironment (intake air is NOT filtered. I just bought this car used and there is no way knowing how long this has been.

I wonder what type of damage this might cost. since I am installing a new turbo hose (alas, I bought one of those MTC type and it is in the mail)should I clean the turbo - spray it with carb cleaner etc or just forget about it and keep my fingers crossed.
