760 Blower Motor Problem 700 1988

I'm giving this question one more try hopeing the person with the answer will read it.

I have a 88 760 turbo with climate control. I was driving the car and the A/c on and all of a sudden the blower motor fan went to high speed i tried to turn it off and it wouldnt. I pulled the car over and turned the engine off pulled the key out and the fan was just blowing like crazy so i went to the fuse box to yank the fuse and it was so hot it fried my finger!!

I thought that it may be the ECC module since it seems to control the resistance to the motor but i thought i would ask what you guys thought? If you agree, any idea where to get one?

Thanks
