Heater does not effect basic CPR mixture control 200 1989

Hmm ... "a slow and reversed idle speed transition". That sums up perfectly what wrong with my idle. I don't think it's worth my money and time to pursue the CPR after going through your reply and the others. Most prob there's something wrong with the CPR but it won't solve my idle problem from what I understand.

You are correct regarding the resistance. I made a mistake, I think it was infinite rather than 0.

I think I'll repost a new topic so that it'll describe more accurately my idle problem. Might get the attention of others who may be able to offer some advice as you rightly pointed out.
