I have never replaced a complete line, but have repaired several worn, leaking sections.

Using a small tubing cutter, I cut out what ever length is convenient, then spliced in a piece of 5/16" OD copper tubing, using brass Compression Unions. Both tubing and unions are found at Ace Hardware, Home Depot, etc.

Works good on older 240 (rusty steel) fuel lines too.
