Also; passenger window shattered. Is it hard to replace?

About two weeks ago I think someone tried to break into my car while it was parked with the windows down around an inch or so because of the heat. When I came back to the car the passenger window had been forced down somehow to about a foot. I had to take the door panel off when the window would not go back up after having lowered it all the way to bend back some of the metal guides on it that were jamming. Anyway it was broken last night by me by either slamming the door shut and it just shattered or it hit a handel of a shovel that was in the car and shattered. I thought that the windows on the car were much harder to break than that, so maybe it was still not properly aligned or something?

I have an old 240 door with good glass; are all of the years interchangeable? How hard is it to get the glass out of one door and into the other?
