Hatch Replacement 200 1991

I've got a 1991 245 SE, 219,000k. I believe my hatch should be replaced for a few reasons:

1. The lock mechanism is so rusted it's just starting to fail me. All I have to do is pull on the hatch and it opens. This is beyond PB Blaster at this point.
2. There is a considerable amount of rust bubbling up at the bottom of the hatch on a car that's otherwise in really decent shape.
3. The gasket around the hatch is falling off at the bottom, and at the top.
4. Wiring harness is bad for back there too - high brake light and rear wiper motor are both pretty sketchy

Now, I know I may be able to get one from a local yard (Volvos are very numerous in Connecticut I've found!), but I wonder if some helpful experienced folks could give some advice, point to a place w/ specific advice for this job, but most importantly help me to know which years/exact models will match. I'd hate to pay upwards of $250 for a nice hatch and have it just sort of fit. =)

I don't think I'll be in CT for long but I want to get started on this job while I'm here 'cause there are so many Volvos, maybe if I'm lucky I'll find a nice red one to match.

(I have been having trouble using the search, esp. the archives, so I may have missed something there and if so hopefully it'll be back soon).

Thanks for reading, thanks for your help.
