90 240 wagon disconnecting air bag

if you disconnect the negitive(-)terminal on the battery will you lose the radio
and then need the code to bring it back on line?second half of the question is
disconnecting the battery and waiting an hour or so the same as unpluging the air bag connection(that way you don't have to pull seat and floor mat to get to the air bag connection.)
