Instrument Cluster Lights (not idiot lights!) 200

Yo,

So I just installed a nice matte tachometer in my 92 240 with no (apparent) problems (it came with the small clock, too)

That said, I drove it just a minute ago for the first time at night, and the lights which are supposed to light my cluster (and do so poorly at that) aren't working...

All the wires I disconnected, were reconnected (correctly!) and all the dash lights, blinkers etc. are all flashing in the cluster...

What should I look for? Anything I forgot? Has anyone else been here?
