Head Liner falling down 700

I did my VW headliner in a couple of hours, but I'm sure I won't be so lucky when I tackle my 740. It is a pretty common problem, and the fabric has all the strength of wet toilet paper. I found a Scotchbrite pad worked great for removing the remnants of the foam and adhesive from the VW's styrofoam backing, not sure if it'd be as good on the Volvo but worth a try, it seems to take up the foam without clogging or damaging the backing. One auto glass shop here has a guy who'll do it for $150 CDN on the side, though one example of his work was less than satisfactory in my opinion.
