6 Volt battery cable 444-544

This isn't a question, just thought I'd pass on something that worked for me.

My '60 has been turning over slowly when starting for years. Worse when the car was stopped for a short time.

Changed the battery two years ago (group 1 size) and it still turned over slow.

Changed the starter this year and it still turned over slow.

Changed the positive battery cable this weekend to "1" gauge which is much heavier than the generic cable that I had on there and it now turns over somewhat faster but much more reliably, even when hot.
I heard the 6 volt systems had heavier duty wiring, but I never thought there could be so much difference because of the cable. I always figured it was just the accessory wiring that was heavier.
