As far as I can tell from here, nothing out of the ordinary.
My 90 245 had 223,000 when I got it with the Check engine light on also.
You will need to check codes to verify but if any or all of codes 113, 231 and 232 come back, Clean both the ground connections for the ECU and injectors on the intake, and the battery to block connection then reset the diagnostic unit.
That is all I had to do to "correct" what caused the Check Engine light to be set.
Clean the flame trap while you are at it.
Window switches can be cleaned, and be sure the center rocker switch on the drivers door is to the dark dot to allow the rear window switches to be used. White dot is only driver control.
AC is R12 and previous owner probably did not want to spend the $$ for repair or charge. If your capable and have access to a vacuum pump, it is do it yourself with lots of reading and this Forums collective knowledge. My changeover so far has cost me just under $70 and later on today I will know if I have cooling or not.
Automatic. I've had no problems with two AW70 transmissions. The wifes 85 was shifted into reverse at 35mph and for a while was funky but cured itself after a few hundred miles. The 90 needed some seals to cure a few leaks. Both when got the autos needed the shift linkage bushings.
I paid $800 for the 90 since it would not pass emissions with the Check Engine light on. Was offered $3000 by the Volvo service tech who did the trans seals before he started work.
