Weber Idle Jet Question 120-130

I think the larger jets are for a DGEV, or some such slightly different model.

You have a 45 idle jet and it's still rich? How far out is the idle mix screw? You want to use the idle jet that makes best idle happen with the screw 1-1/2 turns off its seat... and don't put any force on it when you turn it in to find out where fully seated is -- very easy to damage stuff in there. Just find the point where it doesn't want to turn anymore.

Another issue may be fuel pressure. Weber carbs like 4 psi, no more. Some mechanical pumps I've seen on Volvos put out more than that, and most electric pumps way more. Too much pressure overcomes the float, and you get raw gas tricking down the carb into the intake.

With any of the stock cams, you'll probably want either a 50 or 55 idle jet.
