Trailer hitch wiring question 200 1990

Simple question - puchased an OEM hitch and it included the wiring harness along with a 7 pin round connector. I've looked under the back end and have not seen seen any point/blanked off hole where this is supposed to go inside the car to attach to the car harness.

Is there a hole/blank installed from the factory or do I need to pop a hole in the spare wheel trough?
