Weber Idle Jet Question 120-130

Phil-
Well, I'm making an assumption that the air filter restricts the flow of air to some small degree and that that would have a little effect on the air/fuel mixture entering the combustion chamber. Makes sense to my brain, but that don't mean it's right....

Choke is working fine, not hanging up on anything. I wonder if maybe a PO screwed in the idle mixture screw to far and messed up the passage and it will be impossible to get the idle any leaner. Really, the car is running great and I'm averaging around 29mpg, so I ought to just live with a slightly rich idle until I get the crusty old SUs I have around rebuilt and installed, but I can't resist tinkering!
