Stalling 200 1991

My '91 240 started stalling shortly after filling up. The tank was very low. It will eventually re-start, usually by holding the peddle all the way to the floor. However, throttle response seems poor and it eventually stalls again. I'm not sure if the fill up was coincidence or not. Any help with diagnosing is appreciated. Thanks
