overheating... 200

my 245 is running a bit hot for my taste. the gauge will sit at the halfway mark with the heater on (quite a hellish feeling in houston right now) and a little above halfway with the heater off (it doesn't matter if its stop and go or freeway driving). i think it should be around a 1/4 of the way up the gauge with my setup.

i've changed to a 180 degree F thermostat, dropped in my spare nissens 3 row radiator (which i had flushed, pressure & flow tested) and of course changed the coolant with a fresh 50/50 mix. my suspicion is that the water pump just isn't pumping the water. any thoughts?
