Someone talk me out of this....... 140-160

So I'm thinking about making the jump into the 1 series. I'm looking at a 1975 164. Three things concern me.

The transmission..... its an automatic. I've been lurking around here to know that many of you will tell me that I will not enjoy driving an old volvo with a 3 speed transmission.

Six cylinders..... It just seems wrong to drive a Volvo with more than 4 cylinders. This will be Volvo #5 and the first non 2.1 L or 2.3 L engine

Parts..... Availibility? Probably relates back to my first two problems. I saw one of these rusting away in the junkyard not too long ago but didn't make note if it was a 160 or 140 or what year/transmission it had.

I'll probably do it anyway. Who I am trying to kid?
Thanks in advance
