keyless entry on 97 960 not working 900 1997

My keyless entry lets me lock the doors just fine, but the problem is that when I push the "unlock" button it also locks the door. For a while it worked fine and then about half the time it unlocked the door and the other half it locked the doors. Any ideas out there?
