AC handle stuck ... please help! 700

Hi, my AC handle got stuck all the way to the left (maximum cooling). It would not move at all, unfortunately I forced it to much and the knob came of. It did not break though. I tried to turn it of with a screwdriver but it won’t move. When I look into the panel I see a black, round, ball like thing with a hole in it, it does not move when I try to push it to the right.
Is there a way to repair this myself?
I do not have the money now for a big repair.
