The 164 is MAGNIFICANT, hands down. Go for it.
The 75 is the way to go, already has electronic ignition(If I remember correctly) and is beautiful.
It will be a lot of fun to work on and drive.

Plus, think about this, Who else drives one? Nobody but us, my friend.

Get it and have fun. I am constantly searching for a cheap rust-free 75 that I can get here in New England.

The D-jet is excellent. Far better than any carb setup(in my opinion). This may result in sharp objection from other BB members, but I am all for modern technology. The D-jet was light years ahead of its time for the era that it was produced in.

Go for it.
