I would like to thank everyone who replied to my previous posts.

It has been 2 days since I went out to the car; I have the luxury of a spare car, and the responsibilities of watching my son during the day, so I try to work on the car when I can.

I plugged the diagnostic port into #2, and got a 2-2-1, "engine compensating for rich or lean mixture".

Three years ago I had a problem with my Air Mass Meter, and I recall getting the same code. Replaced that bad one with a used one.

Now I am faced with deciding whether it's the AMM or O2 Sensor. I was browsing the net, and read something how an O2 sensor could become "heat damaged"? Was I reading that correctly? If anyone had been reading this week's earlier post, I related how I was recharging my AC Sunday night. This was during the heatwave in DC. Also in the process, I idled the car for over half an hour in the process. Could this have "heat damaged" the O2 sensor? Am I understanding this information properly?
