unknown part identification 700

hello all,

i'm in the process of putting a B230FT from a '91 740 into an 1800 and am having trouble identifying a part.

the part is in the molded air intake hose between the AMM and the turbo inlet and looks like an air temp sensor(?). the hose from the flame trap connects to it. the two wires that connect to it are blue/yellow and black.
