Boston? 140-160

I live in southern california. Cars like it here. No salt, nice
winters, plenty of space to store and work on cars, great salvage
yards with lots of nice condition older volvos, etc.

I'm thinking of moving to Boston. One of the things that has me
worried is the fear that not only will I have to chose between my
slightly rust 145 and my 142, but that I'll have to send both of
them to the crusher and I'll never be able to find any as nice as
the ones I've got. But, if I spend the $$$ to ship them cross-country
now I've got to try to figure out where to store them and where to
work on them and (if I run out of time) I'll have a hard time finding
people there to do the work for me.

That, plus I know that the moment I take the cars there they'll
start rusting away, which would be sad.

I've got a (I'm the second owner) really really nice condition 142
with some fuel injection problems, worn out front suspension, and an
owner with an empty wallet and a 145 with a hotted up motor from a
junkyard and rusty floorboards and original 68 california license
plates.

I know it is silly to not want to move some place because I won't
be able to work on cars, but it is a concern. Of course, the weather
and the rotten 100+ year old houses and the crazy layout of the place
and the super high rents and so on are also issues...

What do you folks who live in Boston do?
chris
