Hi to everyone out there. I am having a problem with my 1989 740GLE Brick. Thought it might be an injector problem,so I disconnected the ECU,pulled the auxillary relay, and jumped out the relay #2 BL-Y and #3 connection GN-R on the auxillary relay socket. I connected an ohm meter between 9 and 18 on control unit connector. My manual said I should have a reading no more than 4 ohms. It also said if the reading was higher than 4 ohms that it would indicate a bad injector. I didnt get any reading at all. I then checked the injector connectors and got a reading of 15.8 ohms. The desired amount should be 16 ohms. I feel this is close enough. I measured the connectors to the injectorsand they were 5.8 ohms. What should I do next? While I have the ECU disconnected I also checked the Knock enrichment signal from ignition by turning ignition to on and checking voltage from pin#28 on control unit connector and other lead to ground. I got no reading.I should have gotton0.7Volts. Please give me some advice on how to resolve this problem. I am already missing not being behind the wheel of my Brick. Thankyou Vic
