Can't separate control arm from bushing bracket 200

Am I doing something wrong here? I removed the control arm and bushing bracket as a unit and can't get the two separated no matter how much I pound and pry. Is there some special technique I missed? Or am I slowly discovering I own the car with fused parts? (I'm also dealing with a siezed bolt in the ball-joint bracket that's going under the drill tomorrow.)

Any help would be appreciated.

And yes, I did remove the nut.
